The grey in this loft comes mainly from its polished concrete flooring, but the loft’s color scheme certainly isn’t limited to grey alone. All the ceiling lights are not only dimmable but can individually change color, so you can choose exactly what color you want the lights to cast on the subjects of your photos.
Plus, the blue velvet curtains bordering the huge, sunny windows make a fabulous contrast with the grey of the floors. It’s a gorgeous loft, and it’s hard to go wrong here.
Check out what a video producer shared after working here: “Amazing studio! Vincent made the whole process incredibly easy & efficient for us. You can get lots of different looks in this space and they even had a turntable to play vinyl on which we actually used for our shoot. Highly recommended.”
Another wonderful space with stunning grey wood floors, this oasis of a photoshoot location is different than the last one but no less impressive. Rather than a loft, it’s an ultra-modern home with bright interiors, high ceilings, and minimal design.
The outdoor spaces are also a special bonus, with a pool/spa area surrounded by plenty of greenery and terraces that look out on downtown LA and the hills.
Peerspace users have definitely gotten a lot out of this versatile space: “We rented this place for three different shoots over a four week period. Adrian was fantastic to work with and we would definitely rent the place again in the future.”
Unlike the photoshoot locations we’ve listed so far, this is a more conventional commercial studio, but it still fits the bill for grey aesthetic room ideas with its chic grey cyclorama wall (as well as black-and-white shooting walls if you’d like to vary the color scheme a little bit). With such a simple setup, the only limit here is your imagination.
In the words of a creative director in their Peerspace review: “2nd time using this space and brought more of my team to check it out. They loved it. Great atmosphere and the lighting is perfect.”
The overarching color scheme of this glamorous, welcoming loft is grey and black, but it’s also not missing the requisite pops of color! There are cowhide rugs, a grand flower wall, fun custom LED signs, a clawfoot tub, and little touches like a vintage gold hanging birdcage.
And depending on what kind of lighting you’re looking for, you can keep the curtains wide open to enjoy the space’s abundant natural light or close them for a moodier atmosphere.
All of these features and more will add interest to your photoshoot and give you a wide array of visual options to explore. As one photographer who used the space commented, “Such a beautiful & clean environment! [The host] was the sweetest to my friends and myself. Will definitely book again!”
Seattle is known for its cloudy and rainy weather, so if you’re based in this city, you won’t have to wait long for a grey day to come along for your next photoshoot. But that’s if you’re looking to shoot outdoors — if you’d prefer an indoor photoshoot, you might have to be a little pickier to find the right space that’s most fitting for your grey aesthetic room ideas.
When you’re looking, we might suggest searching for spaces with a more industrial aesthetic, as the color palette of these kinds of spaces tends to lean in a more grey direction. This daylight studio exemplifies that tendency, with various shades of grey throughout, plus enormous windows to give you a clear view of the city’s grey (or sometimes even blue!) skies.
A photographer shared the following helpful Peerspace review after shooting here: “10/10 Beautiful natural light in the studio. By far one of my fave spaces to shoot. Host was lovely – communicative and helpful!”
