16-Year-Old Pat Shahgholi’s win at the Eddie Bravo Invitational leaves fans squeamish as he snaps his opponent’s knee

This gory clip of Pat Shahgholi, a 16-year-old BJJ practitioner will leave you squeamish. However, unlike what his age might lead you to believe, it is Pat who is inciting the gore. He has a pattern of shooting heel hooks, resulting in the opponents leaving with a broken leg.

Many argue that it’s simply the nature of the sport that leads to such open brutality however with the foresight that it’s a disaster waiting to happen. Viewers are concerned that one day some superior practitioner could indict the same brutality on the 16- year old in the near future.

Still a blue belt, though Shahgholi had been training all his life, he only took the sport seriously after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the 20th Eddie Bravo Invitational, Shahgholi got to display his dominance for a wider audience at UFC fight pass and he made the most of it, winning in his signature style of brutality.

Yeah that's nasty, there's no need to tear his whole knee apart in friendly competiton. Karma will come back for this kid.

Women have come so far in bjj great to see a young one so good

He didn’t even allow the guy to tap. He just ripped his knee apart. That’s just disrespectful, unsportsmanlike, and no control. Other fighters will take note and this will come back to haunt him.

Wait no option for the guy to tap out just break his knee straight up that’s not cool

Even qualified doctors were terrorized by the sight

Can someone who knows more about this sport tell me if I’m crazy for thinking how unnecessary and dangerous this is to not give someone a fair chance to tap??

I mean goodness…

I say this with all due respect.

This is garbage and there's no need for it. You have the elite of the elite at the highest level in all of grappling using heal hooks and none of them are ripping legs off like this.#Bjj #JiuJitsu #BJJTwitter
