Two small earthquakes were recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey Friday morning centered in the northwest corner of San Diego County.
Both had an epicenter about 5 miles south of Borrego Springs in Anza Borrego State Park and had a depth of about 7.5 miles, according to the USGS. The first was recorded at 6:45 a.m. and the other occurred at about 8 a.m.
Some light shaking was felt from the first, according to the USGS "Did You Feel It?" map -- from Oceanside to Chula Vista. No such reports had been made about the second quake.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries from either.
