“A REAL LIFE HERO” – Social media HAILS Bills’ Denny Kellington for playing CRUCIAL part in saving Damar Hamlin’s life

Denny Kellington, Buffalo Bills‘ staff, played a crucial part in saving Damar Hamlin‘s life. The Bills’ DB suffered a cardiac arrest after a collision with the Bengals WR Tee Higgins during their game on Monday.

What seemed like a routine injury check-up by the medical staff quickly turned out to be a nightmare, as they found out that Hamlin was not breathing. Bills assistant athletic trainer Denny Kellington quickly jumped into action and administered CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation ) to Hamlin and resuscitated him on the field. He was then transferred to the UC Medical Center for further treatment.

Hamlin had a pulse on the field and then lost it while he was being treated by the medical personnel. Now Social media is praising the Bills’ medical staff for saving Damar’s life and preserving neurological function. Especially Denny Kellington, the assistant athletic trainer for administering CPR and resuscitating Hamlin’s life on the turf of Paul Brown Stadium.

Denny Kellington and all the Bills medical staff received appreciation from Dr.Timothy Pritts, one of the medical professionals caring for Hamlin. “We cannot credit their team enough,” Dr. Timothy Pritts said about Kellington. “We can’t say enough about the quick actions of the Bills’ training staff and the physicians who were on the field with getting to him. Recognizing that this was a very serious situation and responding and saving his life.”
