AMP63 Pistol Drops Early in Warzone & Cold War

We’re now in the midst of Warzone and Cold War’s Season 3 reloaded and players are already making a ton of new discoveries.

We’ve already been promised new LTMs, new weapons, zombies content and of course John McClane and Rambo.

One of the new weapons coming to the game is the AMP63, a deadly looking machine pistol, however, Treyarch confirmed it’s not in the game yet and instead it “will come to both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone later in the season.”

However, some players seem to have got their hands on them early, let’s take a look at how and if it’s possible for you to do the same.

What’s Happened with The AMP63 Machine Pistol so Far?

Despite Treyarch stating that the weapons weren’t hitting the game just yet, players on both Reddit and YouTube have reported receiving them during play.

First, prominent Call of Duty player and streamer JGOD got his hands on the AMP63 machine pistol. He declared that the weapon had “no recoil” before telling one of his viewers that “this thing is busted”.

Reports that the weapon is in the game early have also come from Reddit user u/Last-Addendum132.

They received two of the weapons when playing the Onslaught Mystery Munitions LTM.

Last-Addendum echoed JGOD’s sentiments saying that the “fire rate and recoil are waaaaay more manageable than I thought.”

Can you get Your Hands on Them?

Currently, there’s no confirmation on whether or not they actually should be in the game, with a recent tweet from Treyarch reiterating that they are “coming later in the season!”

However, reports on Twitter continue to flood in, showing that the gun is in the game.

It looks like to unlock the gun, you need to eliminate five enemies in 20 different matches using a pistol.
