I said try things on the range that you wouldnt on the course in a game.By that i mean dont try anything in a game that you havnt practiced on the range. Also I find, and its only me personally that i have learnt a lot by reading, then putting into practice if it works for me then i will stick with it,if not i wont.As for lessons and i understand every pro has there own way,i had a lesson,he let me hit 10 balls in half an hour then told me 10 stories of how, seve, jack, lee trevino, tiger did it,total waste of 18 quid.I am a 12hp all self taught and its only cost me time. Also everybody has a different brain capacity some people cant take info in and it doesnt make any differance who teaches them they will never get any better.
