Capcom has officially revealed Street Fighter 6 with a short teaser and logo – Soon after that reveal, one of the producers of Mega Man, and another producer, previously on Bayonetta, announced to be working on the fighting game.
Capcom has officially revealed Street Fighter 6, just as every fan of the series expected, as we knew it was in development. We haven’t seen anything about the game itself though, and more details will only be coming in Summer 2022.
Soon after the teaser, two iconic Capcom veteran developers announced they’re working on Street Fighter 6.

Yusuke Hashimoto and Kazuhiro Tsuchiya are part of the Street Fighter 6 development team
Soon after the teaser for Street Fighter 6 was revealed on February 21, Yusuke Hashimoto tweeted he is one of the designers on the game. In his Japanese tweet, he specified that he’s a planner.
Yusuke Hashimoto’s message
Yusuke Hashimoto: “Street Fighter 6 finally got announced. I’m part of the development team as a planner. Look forward to future updates on the game.”
Yusuke Hashimoto was one of the Capcom employees who later became one of the pillars of PlatinumGames. He most notably worked on the Resident Evil series and God Hand at Capcom. As a PlatinumGames member, he was the producer of Bayonetta 1, the director and character designer of Bayonetta 2, and the director of Star Fox Zero. Yusuke Hashimoto left PlatinumGames in January 2019.

Message from Kazuhiro Tsuchiya
Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, one of the producers of the Mega Man series, also announced to be working on Street Fighter 6. However, he didn’t specify his role on the development team. (Thanks to @Protodude for pointing it out.)
As a side note in case you’ve forgotten, Yoshinori Ono left Capcom in Summer 2020 and is now the president of Delightwork, which just renamed itself to Lasengle. Ono is not involved with Street Fighter 6 in any way. Lasengle is the developer of FGO, one of the most popular mobile games in Japan and a part of the Nasuverse.
Many fans, myself included, are worried about what Street Fighter 6 will turn out to be like. One thing for sure though is that it was amazing seeing everyone dunk on the reveal and logo, joining together for the memes.
