The former BN smooth side cars have fluting above and below the windows and are painted Platinum Mist along the window band, roof, ends and underframe and trucks, the former Budd diner and Mississipi River are in natural stainless steel finish and the window band on the Mississippi River is painted Platinum Mist. The Glacier View is in natural Stainless Steel fininsh, however, has Pullman Standard fluting on the sides instead of the correct Budd Fluting. The Stevens Pass is no longer on the BNSF. The former Santa Fe PSCM/ATSF built baggage car 77 is painted in Platinum Mist. The Former ATSF lounge, diner, dome lounge, Regeal Series sleepers, William B Strong, business cars Atchison,Topeka Santa Fe and John S Reed/Mountainaire are in natural stainless steel fininsh. I am fortunate in that I live in Topeka KS, where the cars are based and maintained.
