Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is the fourth mainline title in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi games, a beloved series of intense fighting games. Originating as a PlayStation 2 release in 2005, the series achieved phenomenal success, leading to the release of two sequels in 2006 and 2007.

Fans eagerly await the new DB game, which could be released at the end of this year or the beginning of the next. As anticipation builds, enthusiasts have expressed their desire for certain features to make a comeback from previous games.

I really hope Chi-Chi’s commentary makes a return. If it does, which character’s commentary do you look forward to the most?

Among the requests is the return of Chi-Chi’s commentary, a beloved feature from Budokai Tenkaichi 3. In the game, fans could enjoy Chi-Chi’s humorous and fully voiced descriptions of each character in the roster, where she’d sneak in her own thoughts and opinions.

The fan requesting the feature even wrote dialogue predicting how she’d describe a character:

I can already imagine Chi-Chi looking at something like super saiyan blue and saying something along the lines of: “Goku originally called this form ‘Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan’. Honestly, just saying it makes my head hurt.”

One of her most iconic dialogues is constantly describing characters as delinquents, which everyone finds endearing. When asked about if the commentary feature returned but with a different character, the OP stated:

King kai would be neat but I’ve just always found the idea to have Chi-Chi be the one to comment such a genius idea. Both because it can be really funny but also just to give a more grounded and human perspective on all the wacky and frankly insane characters in dragon ball

Chi-Chi’s dialogue was a fun addition to BT3, and the comments make it clear that they want it to return.
