Indianapolis, Dec. 10 - Prosecutors dropped criminal charges against a doctor and former congressional candidate. Police arrested Dr. Alex Gatzimos and 11 others in April.
Undercover detectives said he prescribed Vicodin and Ritalin too readily.
The medical review board later cleared Gatzimos, but the loss of business and attorney fees forced him to close his practice.
Prosecutors won't say why they dropped the charges.
