Chrissy Teigen Has a Burning Question About Casseroles for American Airlines

Chrissy Teigen, Twitter goddess and kitchen marvel, has a beyond jet-set life. She and the family are all over the place, whether it's at lunch in Lake Como, ringing in the New Year in Tokyo, or wandering the souks in Marrakech. She's about to take off again too, but has a burning question for America Airlines about just what's accepted as a carryon and what isn't. We've all been there, right? Well, as it turns out—perhaps unsurprisingly, given what we know (and love) about Teigen—her situation is a little bit different.

In an applause-worthy interpretation of "emotional support," instead of asking about bringing a trained support animal on the flight with her, Teigen wanted to know if she could bring some comfort food instead. In this case, a casserole dish of scalloped potatoes. Frankly, it sounds delicious, and we would definitely take the middle seat if it meant getting in on some of that casserole action.

She tweeted the airline's customer assistance hotline on Saturday afternoon to ask if they'd let her bring her delicious dish on board.

"If I don’t have a carry-on, can I bring a large ceramic casserole dish of scalloped potatoes on the plane? I am not kidding, is this okay? Is it too blunt/heavy an object? I’ll cry if they throw it away," she wrote.
