Don’t be quick to leave your marriage because your husband cheated -Twitter influencer tells Nigerian women

Twitter influencer, John Doe has advised married women not to leave their marriage in haste if their husbands cheat on them.

He said his advice is primarily aimed at African women, pointing out that women who don’t want to be married again can ignore his advice.

John Doe stressed that a previously married man can still find a virgin to marry, whereas it’s not the same for a married woman who’s decided to quit her marriage.

Part of the long tweet reads,

“For married women and especially in Africa, never be too quick to leave your marriage because your husband cheated on you. Except you’re done with marriage for good & don’t wish to be married again.

I say this because you don’t even have a better option like the men you plan to leave. That man you leave can even find a virgin lady to remarry, you can’t.”

He added that it’s like a married woman moving from frying pan to fire because she would likely be having an affair with other people’s husbands who’d also be cheating on their wives.

He said,

“Imagine once being a revered wife to a side woman that another man will be cheating with? I said revered wife because, in truth, you know that your cheating husband will never wish for you to leave him because he cheated.”

However, John Doe condemned cheating but advised women to weigh their options before leaving their marriage because their spouse cheated.

“Is it honestly favorable to you? Do you want to be fighting with the next man over a woman? Do you want to be living at the mercy of another man over the welfare of your children?

Do you want to be servicing another man’s d!ck just so you can feed when you have a man that will do all that for you& love your children regardless?” he asked.

The Twitter influencer said it’s better for such a woman to remain in the marriage and cheat back but warned that it’s game over if she’s caught.

“Your husband can find another woman who will be faithful to him, but can you? You’re better off cheating back in the marriage rather than divorcing him. But if you get caught, I’m sorry for you,” he said.

John Doe said that different rules apply to men and women caught in cheating scandals and that a faithful husband is disciplined, not primarily because he’s a good husband.

He ended by saying men value the sexual exclusivity of their wives very well and that about 1,000 women are willing to replace any woman that leaves her husband.

“I’ve once said that a faithful husband is a disciplined husband but doesn’t necessarily mean he’s actually a good husband & father. Stop thinking that men and women are the same when they get caught in cheating. It’s not and will never be.

For every marriage a woman leaves, there are 1,000 women willing to replace her. For every woman a man leaves in marriage, there are very few men willing to replace him.

A man does not cheat on you because he doesn’t find you valuable anymore. He just cheats because he wants to cheat. It has nothing to do with you, only in extreme exceptional cases.

You can’t pretend that you didn’t know that your husband had a lot of body counts before you married him. You knew and you still married him. If a man knows that your body count is just 3, it may affect his decision to marry you.

Nothing has changed in the ways men think. Don’t let social media deceive you. Men value the sexual exclusivity of their wives so much.

All these I have said is for women who believe in marriage and did not just marry to answer Mrs.”

For married women and especially in Africa, never be too quick to leave your marriage because your husband cheated on you.

Except you're done with marriage for good & don't wish to be married again.

I say this because you don't even have a better option like the men you plan
