Easybuy is a mobile device financing platform. The app is a subsidiary of Palmcredit, a consumer loan company. With EasyBuy, you can purchase mobile phones and other devices on credit and pay the amount of the device bought in a more comfortable payment plan of monthly instalments.
A minimum of 30 per cent down payment is required. There are also two loan systems:
- Three months with a nine per cent interest
- Six months with a six per cent interest rate

EasyBuy phones requirements
In order to be eligible for the financing platform, you must have the following requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian or a legal resident of Nigeria
- Have a bank account with any recognised bank in Nigeria
- Valid ID – International Passport, Driver’s License, National ID Card or Voter’s Card.
- BVN
- ATM Card
- You also must be a regular income earner.
- Have maintained good credit records in the past
- A guarantor
- Must be 18 and above
EasyBuy process
If you have the requirements listed above, then take the following steps to get the phone of your dreams at an affordable rate.
- Locate an EasyBuy agent. If you are living in Lagos, you can locate an agent at the Computer Village, Ikeja.
- Feel free to pick your preferred phone or device
- Register with the EasyBuy agent. This is where you will provide details of the requirements listed above.
- Pay the initial deposit amount. As also listed above, the initial deposit must be at least 30 per cent of the price of the mobile phone or device. This is because EasyBuy completes the payment for you at the store behind the scenes and expects you to repay the loan, according to their plan and agreement.
- Download and log in to the EasyBuy Mobile App after paying your deposit. Once you have logged in, set up your loan repayment instrument/mode. You are also expected to add a card to enable the platform to automatically debit your account on the due date. You can also decide to pay your loan before the due date.
