Finally, Elle Macpherson and I have something in common aside from looking so much alike that we constantly get mistaken for each other in supermarkets. Alright, totally just dreaming there, but really: both Elle and I are not exactly the biggest fans of VBL (a.k.a. visible bra line, the northern sister to VPL).
But, unlike me, Elle actually designs lingerie, and The Telegraph reports she's centered her new collection around erasing VBL. But what do you think, ladies? Is VBL always, always OMG-bad? Or are there times when a visible snippet of bra can be tasteful and not just tacky?
Last month, most of you agreed that the quest to find a cute-but-covert bra , one that's pretty but doesn't shout "I'm wearing super serious lingerie under here!", was a tricky one (sorta like the search for the perfect pair of jeans).
Elle Macpherson's Intimates line is always the very definition of pretty (see some bras and bralettes below) and her new anti-VBL collection has some great options, in a range of sherbet-y colors as well as strap options galore (check out the Telegraph for some great picts).
But here's the catch: what about when you don't want your lingerie going incognito?
