CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in south Charlotte is closed Tuesday because of a fire that broke out late Monday night.

Firefighters were called to the restaurant, located in the StoneCrest shopping center off Rea Road in the Ballantyne area, at about 11:40 p.m. The restaurant was closed at the time, and firefighters got the flames under control in about 15 minutes.
The fire started in a storage room in the restaurant, investigators said. The cause has not yet been determined.
The fire caused about $200,000 in damage to the building, officials said.
It's unclear when the restaurant will reopen.
