miHoYo just launched Genshin Impact 2.2, Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog, and you might be wondering how to travel to the new Tsurumi Island.
But first, keep in mind you can only travel to Tsurumi island if you’ve completed the Seirai Stormchasers World Quest, which was added in 2.1. You can check our walkthrough to clear that quest.
To reach Tsurumi Island, the first thing you’ll need to do is to trigger the Through the Mists, A Particularly Particular Author World Quest. Open your Quest menu and activate navigation on the Quest. It’ll guide you to the Katheryne in Inazuma. Keep in mind only the Katheryne in Inazuma triggers the quest. Nothing will happen if you speak to the Katheryne in Mondstadt or Liyue Harbor.
Genshin Impact 2.2 – How to go to Tsurumi Island, the fog island in Inazuma
After speaking with Katheryne, you’ll need to speak with another NPC called Sumida. Just follow navigation and you’ll easily find her. She’s still in Inazuma City, just a few meters away from the Adventurer’s Guild.
You’ll have a succession of dialogues with Sumida. Once you’re done speaking with her, she’ll tell you to go and meet another NPC, Kama, in Rito. Once you speak with Kama, he will take you to Tsurumi Island. This is how you reach the new area. There are several more Quests and a lot of exploration awaiting you there.
