Towards the end of the Scent of Survival quest, you'll reach a cliff where you'll find an interactable object. Interact with it and a boat will appear, allowing you to complete the quest and trigger a cutscene that leads to a new area. Follow the path ahead and climb up some ledges and steps until you reach the Crater Entrance Mystic Gateway located in Vanaheim.

Once there, look to your left and climb up the ledge, then drop down the other side. Continue moving to the right and proceed until you see circular arches ahead. Pass through the arches and make your way to the end, where you'll find a zipline. Take the zipline down to enter the Sinkholes area, and head towards the tunnel where the Quaking Hollow quest will begin.

Find The Source Of The Tremors

Once you initiate the Quaking Hollow quest, you'll encounter some enemies on the other side of the tunnel. There's a totem on your right that's keeping them alive and healing them, but you can easily eliminate them by freezing the totem. Be sure to collect any loot dropped, such as Hacksilver.

You can use the tree branch to swing across the water and reach the Mystic Gate located in the Sinkholes Entrance. Once there, climb up the ledge beyond the gateway and continue forward, clearing any hostile plants in your way. Use your spear to break through the wall at the end of the path and enter a new area. Here, you'll encounter a dragon if you're reaching for the first time. The dragon will sit on a pillar, and you must use your spear on the pillar to make it go away. It will return to sit on another pillar, and you'll need to repeat the process to make it go away again.

Move all the way to the right to find a large red gate. Interact with the chain to open the gate and continue to the right, where you'll come across red vines. Use your blade and sigil to burn the vines and then throw your axe at the poisonous green gas to freeze it. Move ahead and head up the stairs to your left and climb onto the ledge where you'll find some enemies that are out of your reach. Use the rocks nearby to throw at them and take them down.

Now you'll notice some red vines on the ceiling. Use your Sigil arrow and blade to burn the vines and swing across to the other side. Move ahead and drop down through the hole in the floor. Crawl through the hole in the wall on your right, and you'll discover the source of the tremors: a massive creature known as Crag Jaw.

To complete the quest, you'll need to defeat this colossal beast. Crag Jaw has a variety of attacks at its disposal, including a Blockable Tail attack, a Blockable Tusk attack, a Shockwave attack using its legs, an Unblockable Charging attack, and an Unblockable Bite attack.

As with all boss fights in the game, it's crucial to defend yourself effectively and strike when opportunities arise until you defeat the monster. Once you've defeated Crag Jaw, the Quaking Hollow favor will be successfully accomplished.
