“He LIED”: Aaron Rodgers’ pathetic charade over his immunization controversy leaves Shannon Sharpe BAFFLED

Aaron Rodgers is not only a generational talent on the NFL field as the quarterback has one of the greatest arm’s that we have ever seen throw the football but his personality, in general, is also extremely fascinating. Especially in the last couple of years, the Green Bay Packers quarterback has become extremely outspoken and at times, he has us shaken with his comments because of either how ridiculous they are or because we just do not get what he is trying to convey.

His infamous ‘I’m immunized’ comments that the quarterback made at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic was something that destroyed his credibility and attracted a lot of flak, the NFL fined him for lying about his vaccine status and so did the media. Aaron Rodgers voluntarily misled everyone to think that he had gotten vaccinated when in reality, he did not take it but he was on a completely different homeopathic treatment that a holistic doctor prescribed for him.

Shannon Sharpe calls Aaron Rodgers out for trying to deflect the blame upon the media:

The problem with this was, that there were no studies done on this particular way of treatment, nobody could tell if it was actually efficacious in treating COVID-19 or if aided in producing antibodies. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the Moderna vaccine, and the Pfizer vaccine had all proven that they actually produce antibodies because there were extensive studies done that proved them. The Green Bay Packers quarterback cited the reason for his refusal to take these vaccines on the grounds that he “was allergic to an ingredient used in the vaccines.”

That holistic treatment did not work because he ended up testing positive for the virus in week 9. Rodgers recently went on the Joe Rogan podcast where he confessed that he intentionally misdirected the media and public with his “I’m Immunized” comments and that he had been anticipating that question for a long time. NFL Hall of Famer and Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe, who has for the longest time been a fan of Aaron’s game could not defend him over this, he called the quarterback out and kept it short yet effective, “He LIED. The End,” that’s all Unc had to say about Rodgers attempting to defend himself and explain himself over the entire controversy.

Sharpe is correct, Aaron knew what he was doing, the NFL was serious about wanting its athletes to get vaccinated because unlike the NBA, it was hard for them to keep the players in a bubble which means their best bet was to see to it everyone got vaccinated. “I’d been ready the entire time for this question and had thought about how I wanted to answer it. And I had come to the conclusion I’m gonna say, ‘I’ve been immunized.’ And if there’s a follow-up, then talk about my process, I thought there is a possibility that I say ‘I’m immunized,’ maybe they understand what that means, maybe they don’t. Maybe they follow up. They didn’t follow up. So then I go the season with them thinking, some of them, that I was vaccinated,” the quarterback justifies himself.

Aaron Rodgers is attempting to blame the media, it is their fault because they did not follow up and just assumed that his being immunized meant that he got the vaccine. Come on Aaron, you just did not want to face the consequences that would have arisen if you had just said you were not vaccinated, there were multiple stars across the league who all made it public that they did not feel comfortable taking the vaccine and did not lie about it or attempt to twist the narrative. Nevertheless, the whole situation ended up costing the Packers QB his credibility and made him look bad in front of the whole world.
