Recently, it was revealed that Helldivers 2 has its own “game master.” The only job of this “game master” is to keep changing the direction of this ongoing in-game war so players are always on their toes. This definitely makes every single conflict and event special. This is exactly why the Malevelon Creek incident was so talked about, because it came out of nowhere.
And now this game master is adding equipment and weapons to make sure players are able to face those automatons a bit more effectively. They have started adding mechs because players needed some kind of specialized weaponry to combat those hulks and armored bugs.
