*BCBG: People will be wearing short dresses, long dresses, and everything in between, from what I've heard. This velvet dress feels young and fun and--bonus!--has the jewelry built right in. It also tackles the transparency trend without going overboard. *
Vera Wang: I usually try not to wear black for evening if I can help it. And I've been reading that in Washington D.C., more than perhaps anywhere else, it's definitely the color of choice. But considering I have four parties to be at the night of the inaugural ball, ranging from the Hip Hop ball and an MTV event to Obama's Home States Ball (Illinois and Hawaii), I want to feel comfortable at all of them, and this dress is non-descript enough that I think I will.
Kelly Bergin: This relatively unknown dress designer makes some of my favorite pieces out there. If I want to buck the boring black trend, I think this is the best way to do it. A bright jewel tone is always nice in the dead of winter, and black tights and shoes will make it look seasonally appropriate.
Which dress should Tracey wear for the inauguration?
