Indianapolis Colt owner pays tribute to Super Bowl winner Matt Ulrich

Indianapolis Colt owner Jim Isray took to X to pay heartfelt tribute to one of their most successful players. Jim claimed to have been left heartbroken by the sudden death of the Super Bowl champion.

He tweeted, "I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of Matt Ulrich. Matt was with us only two seasons, but left his mark on many."

He then added, "Great guy, I hear he was a great dad---and he was a Super Bowl champ. My prayers to his family."

The late athlete Ulrich left behind his wife Alison Ulrich after his death. Both dated for a while before walking down the aisle.

They were in a long-distance relationship, making it work from Alaska to Chicago. Together, Ulrich and Alison had four kids, Gunther, Dalton, Bowden, and Thoreau.

What did Matt Ulrich do after retiring from NFL?

After retiring from a great career in football, Ulrich co-founded a brand of "body fat and metabolic testing centers" named DexaFit. Ulrich also worked as an MD and partner with Profitable Ideas Exchange in Bozeman, Montana.

Ulrich was also the player advisor at Harvard University for The Football Players Health Study. Ulrich was also head of Mountain Edge Athletics. 

Ulrich played guard at Super Bowl 29-17 against the Chicago Bears in 2007.
