A Michigan couple has broken their family’s record by giving birth to their first daughter in over 130 years.
Carolyn and Andrew Clark welcomed their daughter, Audrey, on March 17, 2023.

According to Andrew’s family records, Audrey is the first daughter born on his side of the family since 1885.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Andrew said, “It was a huge surprise for all of us.”

Carolyn on the other side revealed she heard the jaw-dropping tale a decade ago when she started dating Andrew and didn’t quite believe her ears until she asked his parents.
“I asked his parents to confirm that information, and they’re like, ‘Oh yeah, no, we haven’t had a girl in our direct line,” Carolyn said.
