Jonah Hill faces backlash for selling 'Complete Unrelenting Control' merch amid 'manipulation' claims by ex-GF Sarah Brady

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jonah Hill made headlines after ex-girlfriend Sarah Brady accused him of being manipulative and controlling when they were dating. Amid this situation, Hill's streetwear company has apparently launched an "emotional baggage tote" with the company phrase "Complete Unrelenting Control." The bag costs $30 and features his company's slogan, "Complete Unrelenting Control," printed on one side. The description for the tote on the brand's website reads, "Bags can carry all sorts of very personal things - credit cards, flip-flops, pictures of your loved ones. But one thing your run of the mill bags can't do is carry your emotions. With this Emotional Baggage tote, you can zip all your problems away and be content knowing you're a part of Meaningful Existence. No more feelings, just Complete Unrelenting Control." Other products available include caps, footwear, shorts, and T-shirts, among other things.

In a barrage of Instagram stories on July 7, Brady, a professional surfer and law student, accused the 'Wolf of Wall Street' star of being possessive, alleging that he would "manipulate" and "gaslight" her throughout their relationship, which lasted from August 2021 until 2022. Some sources mention that Hill selling such merchandise at this time is an unusual coincidence.

Jonah Hill's 'Meaningful Existence'

Jonah Hill, who quit Instagram in 2022, unveiled the clothing line Meaningful Existence under the alias Prophet Ezekiel Profit in June. The clothing brand, which stars Hill as the Profit character in disguise, pokes fun at wellness and lifestyle gurus with items like "Smells Like Wealth" candles and "Infinite Hug" weighted blankets. Hill, 39, introduced the brand by attending a Lakers game as the cult figure "Profit" with 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' actress Lisa Rinna by his side and both wearing clothing from his brand.

"Meaningful Existence is a mission-driven lifestyle company and wellness community that offers high-quality products and supports mental health and therapy resources," the online company mentions, adding, "Our goal is to help remove the stigma around prioritizing mental well-being." The project even offers a scholarship program to "address the critical shortage of mental health professionals nationwide," with an application process for students interested in making a career in the sector and a potential award of $5,000 to help with "tuition, fees, and other related financial obligations," as per Fox News.

Hill's ex-girlfriend Brady, published several Instagram Stories postings earlier this week, some of which contained images of text messages allegedly exchanged between the couple. She alleged that when they were dating, the 'Superbad' star would "gaslight" and "manipulate" her into deleting pictures of herself surfing while wearing a swimsuit. Apparently, the surfer even included one message from Hill asking her to delete images of her "a** in a thong," as reported by Page Six.

'He thinks he came profit off this situation'

The Internet responded immediately after learning that the 'You People' actor is selling "Complete Unrelenting Control" merch amid the allegations brought by his ex-girlfriend. A user tweeted, "This is disgusting. Whatever therapy he's doing isn't working. He had the option to apologize and chose to mock and profit off abuse." "Trying to do the same as Kiki you can't market off your ex Jonah.. not in this situation," noted another in reference to Keke Palmer's public feud with her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson. Another user expressed, "He thinks he came profit off this situation. U ain't Keke Palmer bro." One even labeled the actor's merch as "Weird, disgusting, and ugly." "So he prefers to double down and seek profit instead of apologizing and learning from his mistakes. What a sociopath," remarked another user.
