Little Tikes recalls toddler swing due to risk of fall

The company says the seats on these swings can crack or break. 39 children have been injured.

AURORA, Oh. (WTHR) - Little Tikes has recalled some of their 2-in-1 Snug 'n Secure pink toddler swings. The company says the swing can crack or break, which poses a fall hazard.

The swing is pink, has four yellow ropes, and a pink T-shaped restraint in the front.

The recalled swings have a model number of 615573 on the back of the swing seat.

The swing also has a date code stamp on the back of the seat that looks like this:

The company says the inner arrow of the stamp on the recalled swings points to “10”, “11”, “12” or “13”. Also, swings with a date code stamp of “9” on the inner arrow and an outer arrow number of “43” or higher are included in this recall. If your date stamp does not meet these criteria, it is not included in the recall.

The company says they've received roughly 140 complaints about the swings breaking. They report 39 injuries to children. Two of those results in broken arms.

The company says you should stop using any swings in involved in the recall and contact the company for a refund. The company says the refund will be given in the form of a credit towards the purchase

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled swings and contact Little Tikes for a refund in the form of a credit towards the purchase of another Little Tikes product. Contact the company at 855-284-1903 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET on weekdays.
