Saturday night marked the meeting of two of the greatest football passers. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers met with Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and exchanged jerseys at Lambeau Field.
De Bruyne shared the picture of the two with the jerseys on his Instagram account which was later shared by Rodgers as well. Man City met with Bayern Munich for an exhibition soccer match at the legendary Lambeau Field.

Aaron Rodgers, the back-to-back MVP for the last two seasons is an avid follower of the English Premier Club Man City. At the exhibition match between Bayern Munich and Man City at Lambeau Field, the 38-year-old signal-caller made sure to not miss any action. He was present supporting his team in an older version of Man City’s light blue uniform.
Kevin De Bruyne has been Man City’s midfield since 2016 and quickly rose to fame due to his exceptional skills and continuous production on the field. Pundits have often described him as a “complete footballer” and he is widely recognized to be one of the best players of his generation. During the exhibition match at Lambeau Field, De Bruyne’s build-up play led to Man City’s winning goal 12 minutes into the game.
For the first time, the stands of Lambeau Field were not colored in green as usual. Instead, it was colored in a mixture of light blue and red by soccer fans flying in from 19 countries and 50 states two see these two teams battle it out at the iconic Lambeau Field. After Man City beat Bayern Munich 1-0, De Bruyne met up with Rodgers and the two swapped their jerseys. On the No. 12 Packers uniform, Rodgers wrote: “Kevin, love watching you play. You’re a legend.” De Bruyne wrote back, “To the legend Aaron Rodgers, all the best.”
