Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli’s son, Gozi, appears not to be interested in a particular African soup.
Gozi in a video shared by Omoni on Instagram gave a funny reaction to the pot of soup prepared by his mum. He described the soup as a “cursed” or “forbidden” food.
Speaking further, Gozie compared the boiling pot of soup to a witch’s cauldron brew.
Though Omoni seemed shocked by his negative reaction, she reacted good-naturedly and insisted she was going to enjoy the soup despite his discouraging comments.
Black soup is a delicacy popular in Edo state, made with banga sauce, stock fish, smoked fish, pepper and crayfish, its colour -for which it is named – is usually black, with a thick texture some find unappealing.
Netizens have jumped on the post to react to the video, with some dropping comments in support of Gozi.
