Popular Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, Mercy Chinwo, has caused a buzz online over her Valentine’s Day advice to women.
Taking to her official Instagram page, the singer acknowledged the day for lovers, which is on the 14th of February and admonished ladies not to fall for any excuse from men.

According to Mercy Chinwo, husbands tell their wives that every day is Valentine’s Day to avoid buying them a gift.
In her words, “Someone’s husband is about to tell his wife that “EVERYDAY IS VALENTINE’’ My dear sister, don’t fall for it oh.”
She further added, “My dear sisters, be wise, I repeat be wise.”
