Step aside, Cinderella and Prince Charming. Hailee Nicole Strickland and Brook Lopez will take it from here.
The Milwaukee Bucks center and his fiancée, the founder of Honor Pilates, married over the weekend in California.
Disney fanatic Lopez met Strickland at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Exactly 13 years later, in August 2022, that's where "Splash Mountain" proposed to her.
Strickland shared a collection of photos from their Big Day on Instagram Wednesday with the caption: "I’ve been loving you so long, ever since that bone thugs song," lyrics from Mariah Carey's "With You."
Strickland donned a wedding dress fit for a Disney princess, complete with bow detailing and a whimsical lacey, floral pattern. Her soft, wavy curls were partially pulled back under an extra long veil.
Lopez sported a tux with a bow tie. And, it looks like their Dalmatian got a bow tie, too.
"This makes my heart smile so huge. I am just so happy for the two of you," DJ Shawna, aka Shawna Nicols, commented on Strickland's post. Nicols is the Bucks' official DJ and producer.
"Omg literally STUNNING!!!!" Mariah Riddlesprigger, Giannis Antetokounmpo's partner, commented on the post. "My best friend is a wife."
Earlier this week, Antetokounmpo shared adorable pics of he and Riddlesprigger all dolled up with the caption: "You make life beautiful." Perhaps these were snapped at the nuptials?
So, where do we think the newlyweds will be honeymooning? Our money's on Disney.
