Mt. Hood Railroad
Guys,
I've been interested in the Mt. Hood Railroad in Oregon, and after viewing the tracks, I can't seem to put my finger on the whole switchback wye that they use to get up the hill. Does anyone know what the purpose was for the switchback? Was, at one point, the deadend not a dead in or has it always been this way?
