The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards pink carpet was sparkling, with Olivia Rodrigo as one of the first artists to arrive in a glittering Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress. Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion looked incredible in a sultry sheer number by Brandon Blackwood and deconstructed Jacob and Co. diamond choker. Shakira, who received the evening's prestigious Vanguard Award, also showed out in a golden Versace gown with major Y2K vibes.
At last year's event Taylor Swift arrived in head-to-toe sparkles to announce her latest album Midnights, following her big win for “All Too Well (Taylor's Version) (10 Minute Version).” Now she's back to potentially score big, with “Anti-Hero” nominated in multiple categories and Swift herself up for Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, Rodrigo's “Vampire” is nominated in many of the same categories. Hopefully, bejeweled dresses are a sign of good things to come…perhaps a tour announcement?
