Nashville's Lennon and Maisy Stella On Performing for Taylor Swift

Lennon: It works!

Maisy: I'm like, "I'm just going to make up a story!"

Glamour: Who would you girls love to meet?

Lennon: I wouldn't get starstruck, but someone who is very inspiring to me is Glen Hansard and Mar of the Swell Season. Everything I do musically is inspired by them. I just love them so much. They've won Oscars and are massive stars, but obviously not like Justin Bieber, who just seems very Hollywood...like, you would get starstruck around him...

Maisy: He would wear sunglasses if he walked into a room.

Lennon: Obviously, we'd love to meet him, but Glen Hansard and Mar are just so down-to-earth and totally regular people, and I feel I would be so moved by them. I've always wanted to meet them.

Maisy: That's your dream!

Lennon: I also have loved Selena Gomez since I was a little kid. When I met her, I thought I was going to lose it—but when she walked into the room, she was just so sweet, and my eyes got watery.

Maisy: She was starstruck. I just don't get starstruck. Actually, with Lucy Hale we did. I did, I mean. I was like, "Oh my God, Lucy Hale!" I started crying! I can't believe you have that on video! (Ed. Note: We do! See below!)

Lennon: My mom got starstruck over P. Diddy. I just shook my head.

Maisy: Don't tell this story. Please, seriously. It's so embarrassing!

Lennon: I don't know. I just haven't gotten starstruck yet. Maybe one day.

Maisy: What about Jason Mraz?

Lennon: OK, Jason Mraz. That's a good one. But I just respect him so much musically that I felt like, "Ahhhh!"

Maisy: When we met Carrie Underwood...

Lennon: OK, so she's a big celebrity...

Maisy: She wasn't a diva, but she was very much a Hollywood star.

Lennon: She was so down-to-earth though...

Maisy: ...and so sweet!

Glamour: What do you girls do when you're not acting or performing?

Maisy: We don't watch TV that much.

Lennon: We are so busy that when we are home, we just like to chill out...

Maisy: ...with family. And we like to play with our dog, Howie, a lot. He's a Cavalier King Charles, and he's a baby, so he's really, really tiny. He's so cute!

Lennon: We don't get a lot of time, so I love to hang out with my friends because that's important. That's why my mom put us in school—for the social aspect.

Maisy: As soon as I get home from school, I throw my backpack down and go next door to my friend's house and jump on the trampoline. That is very fun!

Lennon: It's good to just have that normal time.
