New Star Wars Star Destroyer Continues to Push the Limits of Starfield

Starfield has received a warm welcome since it was released back in September and has been praised for the freedom it gives players in terms of exploration, customization, and more. The in-built ship-building feature in the game is quite lenient and lets players go all out to test the might of Starfield.

Players have used the ship-building feature quite effectively, showcasing a range of ships from various universes. They have recreated iconic ships from Halo to Mass Effect, showcasing their creativity to the community. The Pelican and Forward Unto Dawn from Halo as well as the iconic ship Normandy from Mass Effect have graced Starfield among other fan-favorites.

A player even turned a ship into an Optimus Prime space truck but out of all the recreated ships, a player seems to have now toppled all other ships with their amazing creation, a Star Wars Star Destroyer. The Star Destroyer is so huge it breaks the shipyard in New Atlantis when it lands. The amazing Star Wars vessel has amazing detailing and looks incredible.

The iconic Star Wars Star Destroyer was shared by Reddit user u/DotElectronic7174 describing it as their version of Star Destroyer on the Starfield Ships subreddit. The ship has a layered, slate-like hull with metallic textures covering it. The Redditor even mentioned that the ship is so huge that it struggles in the shipbuilder and drops at 15 fps during the process but once it is in the game,60 fps is easy to get.

The user shared a few pictures of the inside of the ship with an accurate cockpit and a picture of the ship flying with the engines on full throttle along with it lingering around a planet. As per the Redditor, the huge Star Destroyer weighs in at 20,796 mass, has a hull rating of 6,837, and can easily hold 33,280 cargo. The ship has a top speed of 130, 26 mobility, and a jump range of 9 light-years.

DotElectronic7174 said the ship was made using console commands and the in-game cheat engine and they did not use any mods. They added that the ship is slow and some of its turrets bug out sometimes and stop firing but it was worth it for this beauty. Fans engaging on the post have said the ship to be the best Starfield Destroyer and there have been many in the Starfield Ship community.

While the fans are applauding DotElectronic7174 for their incredible Star Wars Star Destroyer build for being the best, a shipbuilder had already made an Imperial Star Destroyer in Starfield nearly a month ago. The ship was originally posted by the Jackygold on Starfield subreddit who shared how they built the Imperial Star Destroyer in Bethesda’s space RPG.

The user, however, recreated the ship on PC using several mods to construct a vessel, unlike DotElectronic7174 who claims to have not used any mods. Jackygold also shared that the enormous size of the ship made their PC lag severely and urged players to not try building the ship if they are finding it hard to run Starfield as this could make the game unplayable for them.

Jackygold even put together a 21-page how-to-build guide, detailing the process for players looking to build this mammoth of a ship. Players will need to install three mods to build the Imperial Star Destroyer namely the Ship Builder Unrestricted which removes ship size limits, Shipyards Unlocked which adds each part of the ship part to the shipbuilding vendor, and lastly, the Ship Builder Tweaks which allows these parts to be put closer together.

Players can get links for these mods on Jackygold’s online guide that details step-by-step instructions to help out players in their quest to build the destroyer. Starfield has been praised by players for the freedom it gives and seeing such amazing build from players lands on the claims of Todd Howard that the game is built to be played for a long time.
