The video of a groom sweeping to fulfil traditional marriage rites has caused a stir on social media.
In the video which has generated mixed reactions, the groom was filmed alongside his friends sweeping the entrance of his in-laws compound.
The sweeping activity is said to be a part of the culture in the Nkanu East part of Enugu state.
Although Nigerians have witnessed all manner of activities during traditional marriages, some seemed to be concerned about the sweeping culture shared in the video.

Reacting to the video shared on Instagram, while some who claim to be from Nkanu East claim they’ve never heard of such tradition, other Nigerians have either questioned or commended the practice.

In another report, controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has hit out hard on his critics and even rained curses on them, especially those who wished him bad after news of his marriage to second wife, Judy Austin Edochie, broke out.
The actor, who has come under a barrage of criticism after he recently took a new wife finally reacted angrily to the heavy trolls he has suffered online.

In a post on his Instagram page, the former presidential aspirant wondered why some people are always very angry whenever they see another person happy.
He said he was bewildered that some people even wished his family death. The fierce actor said triple love and blessing would follow those that love him while downfall will consume those who wished him downfall.
He also said he does not believe in letting God deal with haters.
