The Figueroa fundraiser is going smoothly, and then the campaign manager alerts Fig that Caputo is calling again for the sixth time. Instead of calling him back, she decides to butter up the head of FITZCore for donations, who taps her on the butt! I don't even like Fig, but this is too much. On her behalf, I must say:
Red's crew arrives on the floor and wants to stay as far away from the black crew as possible. They find a spot where they can spy on the black girls, and Red gives them the rules: They sleep in shifts, if they go anywhere, take a buddy, and always have your eyes on Vee. Just then the COs come in and tell them that the plumbing is done-zo, so the inmates are going to have to pee into buckets (No. 2 is not allowed) and when it's halfway full, whoever pees last has to dump it outside. Trifling.
Pennsatucky visits Healy for some snacks, and he tells her to stay away from Boo and her lesbian "agenda." Healy is ridiculous. Meanwhile, a full-on sing-along is going down. Vee taunts Red, and then we head to another Vee flashback. She visits RJ and confronts him about his side business. He tells her that he wants to branch out on his own and that he will give her percentage of whatever he sells. She agrees and they have sex:
I'm all for cougar lovin', but she's like a mother figure to him, so this is kind of unsettling, no? Anyway, we head back to the present.
Pipes goes to the Latina who's also being transferred and they talk. She's got six more years left and is worried that her boyfriend is going to replace her and her daughter will be calling some other woman "Mommy." Next, we see Boo and Pennsa playing checkers. Penssa asks her about the gay agenda. Of course, Boo, goes along with this insanity and tells her all sorts of silly things like that there's an initiation.
The black-girl crew are playing "F**k, Marry, Kill" and Taystee tries to join in, but they ice her out. Across the way, Daya is panicking, so Aleida and Bennett are trying to calm her down. CO Donaldson forces her to do 20 jumping jacks and it actually works.
Speaking of Caputo, he finally gets a hold of Figueroa and she tells him that he's going to have to get through the night and she will deal with him in the morning.
Next, Red goes to the kitchen where the other Latinas are. She asks Gloria to drop her keys to the knife cabinet, so Red can grab a knife for self-defense, but Glo's not feeling this plan. I gotta give props to Gloria for staying out of this war. It increases her chances of staying alive.
Bennett and Daya talk about the future. Daya says they have two options: to confess, get out of prison in a few years, and then be together as a family or he can just walk away and get a fresh start. Bennett doesn't want to walk away from her or his kid. WHO CARES?! They literally talk about this every day! Enough.
