In June, First We Feast series Hot Ones‘ host Sean Evans appeared on the Pardon My Take podcast and talked about actor Paul Rudd‘s iconic meme “Hey, Look at Us” that came from an episode of Hot Ones. During Rudd’s appearance on Hot Ones in 2019, Rudd said, “Hey, look at us!” This particular line was taken out of context and became a viral meme. Evans recalled that Rudd didn’t even remember saying that line,
“You know what’s funny though is, in that moment, I didn’t recognize it as anything and then I’ve talked to Paul Rudd since then and I remember being like, ‘When you said, look at us did you?’ – He said, ‘I’ll be honest, I didn’t even remember it when I walked out of the room.'”
Shortly after the video went live on YouTube, thousands of memes with different hilarious captions with Rudd’s video went viral on social media.

Further in the interview, Evans revealed that Rudd didn’t even know that the clip went viral until a stranger showed him the meme,
“He’s like, ‘People are just yelling, look at us! look at us! on the street,’ and then eventually, somebody got to him and be like, ‘Oh, have you seen this thing?’ but I didn’t even know that would be a thing and that’s broken containment and gotten almost bigger than the show itself.”
Rudd’s age has also been a topic of interest for many years. It baffles many people that Rudd looks so young even at the age of 54. His good looks, combined with his remarkable acting skills, have made him a well-known name in the industry.
