I had the Ping SF tec with a regular shaft up until a few weeks ago.
I was still fading more than I could control with it.
Had a lesson (the key to all this!) corrected grip, which had become weak. Better alignment at address etc. and I achieved better straight shots, but it showed I was getting a high spin.
Tried a Ping LS tec with stiff shaft, complete with stronger grip etc and added good yardage to my drives and felt very nice.
I am now the proud owner of said club and have been extremely pleased. I compare to my PP's 3 times a week and it is much better for me.
My summary advice- Go for a lesson!
