Pokimane reacts to Jacksfilms vs SSSniperwolf drama and 'unnecessary' comparison with Turkish YouTuber: 'I'm vehemently against doxing'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Addressing the ongoing feud between YouTubers Lia "SSSniperwolf" and John "Jacksfilms," Twitch star Imane "Pokimane" spoke out on October 18, 2023, using X (previously Twitter).

In her statement, Pokimane addressed those who were drawing comparisons between her and SSSniperwolf.

The Twitch streamer expressed strong opposition to doxing and swatting, categorizing the comparison as "unnecessary."

The Moroccan-Canadian celebrity explicitly stated her disapproval, emphasizing that she did not wish to be associated with the stereotype that suggests "women are capable of anything."

Pokimane lashes out at SSSniperwolf's comparison

The tweet in question, which included images of both SSSniperwolf and Pokimane, drew comparisons between the two with the caption, "My platform lets me get away with anything starter pack."

Pokimane, who is renowned for confronting issues head-on, didn't hold back in her reply. She shared her thoughts on X saying, "I'm vehemently against doxing, esp as someone who has been doxed, swatted, and stalked for years."

She went on to say, "This comparison is unnecessary." Pokimane also commented on SSSniperwolf's ongoing feud with YouTuber Jacksfilms, stating, "I don't want to be a part of your 'women can get away with anything' agenda. I sincerely hope that @YouTube helps Jack."

Pokimane further expressed that she consistently makes an effort to apologize for her mistakes. She then appealed to the internet community to refrain from equating her with someone who had "committed a crime."

She remarked, "I always try to apologize and do better when I make a mistake. It's okay if you haven't forgiven that yet, but please don't compare me to someone who committed a crime and put people's safety at risk."
