Iga Swiatek is soon going to be the next World No.1 and Coco Gauff is one of the youngest players to compete in the ongoing Miami Open 2022. therefore it was bound to happen that these two rising stars were destined to meet at some point in the tournament.
But the players made headlines even before the start of the match with their antics during the coin toss. In the video, Swiatek can be seen warming up for the match as the umpire was speaking by stretching and running from side to side whereas Gauff can be seen jumping up and down as a warm-up.
The video which was shared on Twitter has been liked by over 3,000 viewers in a single day and retweeted over 200 times. The video may seem like a normal one at first, but it was made funnier when they went on to continue with their warm-up routine as the umpire was speaking.
Twitter users are cracking upon watching the video between Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff
The match then goes on with Swiatek winning the match in straight sets to move on to the next round. But Coco certainly has a lot of potential and is still only 18 so she has a long road ahead. Meanwhile, the 20 year old Polish and a Grand Slam winner is fast cruising ahead on the pursuit to prove herself to the world.
Coco Gauff on the other hand is showing a lot of potential by reaching the quarterfinals of the Miami Open at the young age of 18. Although she was crushed in the match against Iva Swiatek, she still has the potential to grow.
Haha is all of that really necessary. 😂😂💕

Part of #nadal legacy are these boxing style coin toss routine calisthenics .

I remember when Nadal showed up in the tour , all the reporters were perplexed seeing his jumping and running towards the baseline, and yes, we can verify now that there were kids watching
There are like passengers in airplane listening to hostess instructions.😀

There should be a mandatory rule that these types of routines last at least 10 minutes.😂😂😂😂

The coin toss dance off. Win this and half the battle is over 🙂
I always love how Zhang goes with her job (telling rules) without a pause.
