We want to warn you about a phone scam in reference to the train derailment in Oneida.
If you receive a phone call asking for a donation to the Red Cross in connection with the derailment, don't believe it.
At least one person in Oneida County received a phone call asking for money.
The Red Cross warns this is a scam and they are not soliciting donations for the derailment.
If you received a similar call and suspect fraud, you're advised to call (315) 363-2900.
