Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless are the co-hosts on the Undisputed and it was likely that the duo put on a united front after Bayless’ controversial comment regarding Damar Hamlin’s injury.
Bayless’ comments created a lot of stir in the media and many called him out. Some even asked the Fox network to fire Bayless from the show for being insensitive. Although Sharpe didn’t agree with Bayless’ comments, he had to show a united front for his co-host.
Sharpe brutally chastised Bayless for his comments on the Undisputed and called him out for continuously interrupting his monologue. The duo was engaged in a heated debate on the show after the controversial tweet as Sharpe asked Bayless “the bosses at Fox wanted [Bayless] to explain” regarding the tweet.
However, Bayless was stubborn throughout and stood by his tweet when he stated “Nobody here [at Fox] had a problem with that tweet,” on the Undisputed.
Although the duo fought ferociously on the set of Undisputed, their social media activity suggests otherwise, especially Shannon Sharpe who has been active on Twitter a lot after the incident.
Shannon Sharpe has confused the masses a lot with his recent activities on and off the camera. The former NFL TE has done contradictory things that suggest he may be looking to exit from the show.
Sharpe recently shared a tweet that had a screenshot of the message that Bayless had sent to him after the outburst regarding Damar Hamlin’s injury. “My Bro just sent this to me. He doesn’t show or share a lot emotions with me. Over last month he’s sent me more text messages and voice messages than ever…” Sharpe stated on his Twitter.

Sharpe also replied to a tweet where former NBA players Charles Barkley and Shaq were trolling the Undisputed duo for the way they were fighting and called it ‘accurate.’
Lastly, Sharpe also confessed that he has got the situation under control after many were claiming to storm at the Undisputed set after Bayless’ insensitive tweet went viral.
On the surface, the relationship between the former Broncos TE and Skip Bayless is great. However, there may be cracks under the surface that may tell a whole other story.
