Super Hero Panel Confirmed at NY Comic Con 2021

The entire anime community is eager to learn more about the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. Well, Toei animation will reveal some information about the upcoming anime film at New York Comic Con 2021.

Akira Toriyama revived the Dragon Ball franchise by launching Dragon Ball Super. Its story begins a few years after Majin Buu’s defeat, which marked the end of Dragon Ball Z.

Toei Animation released the DBS anime adaptation in 2015. The first season consisted of 131 episodes, and it concluded in March 2018. Since then, everyone has been waiting for Season 2, but there’s still no confirmation about the anime’s return.

Fortunately, the studio announced a new anime movie titled “Dragon Ball Super Super Hero.” The movie is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022, but we’ve yet to get an exact release date.

Toei Animation gave us the first look at the upcoming movie at San Diego’s Comic-Con. And it looks like the studio will reveal more about the film at New York Comic-Con 2021.

Dragon Ball Super Movie Panel at New York Comic Con 2021

Recently, the official website for New York Comic-Con 2021 confirmed a panel for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie. The panel will be held on October 7, 2021 (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM).

As per the official announcement, Akio Iyoku (Dragon Ball’s executive producer and Akira Toriyama’s editor) and Norihiro Hayashida (Producer for Dragon Ball movies/TV series including Dragon Ball Super: BROLY) will appear as special guests at the panel. Besides them, Ian Sinclair (Whis) and Monica Rial (Bulma) will also be at the panel.

The guests will have a behind-the-scenes discussion about Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Also, it’s not too crazy to assume that we might see another trailer for the movie at the panel.
