Jake Gyllenhaal may be waiting for the world to move on from Red (Taylor's Version), but another one of Taylor Swift's exes is nothing but supportive.
On Saturday, November 13, Swift performed the 10-minute version of “All Too Well” on Saturday Night Live with the short film starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien playing in the background. It was an iconic performance layered with Swift's dramatic flare, the artist hitting each additional line with audience-rousing righteous anger. Take a minute (or 10) to watch:
But while all that collective rage is being targeted at Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas was perfectly fine watching from the crowd. (Those of you that know Jonas and Swift's brief relationship in 2008 allegedly inspired a series of breakup songs on her Fearless album—including the recently released “Mr. Perfectly Fine”—will find that sentence funny. I do this for you.)
Jonas arrived at 30 Rockefeller Center ahead of the show with his wife, Sophie Turner. Back in April the Game of Thrones star had the best reaction to Swift's latest track that dragged her husband, writing, “It's not NOT a bop,” in an Instagram Story.
It seems Jonas and Swift have buried the hatchet since he famously broke up with the pop star over voice mail 13 years ago. Fans even suspect they may be heading toward a collab. Let's just say the Jonas Brothers have been dropping a lot of 1989-related hints.
Still, Swifties were hyped to see Jonas show up for their fave. “I can't believe we live in a world where we say Taylor Swift sing, ‘Hey Joe, I’m doing real well,’ on SNL in 2009 to seeing Joe Jonas showing up in 2021 to support her performance on SNL,” one fan tweeted. “What kind of glitch in the matrix?”
