Train Sim World 4 pulls into the Xbox Game Pass station today

Following Anuchard's arrival yesterday, Train Sim World 4 chugs onto Xbox Game Pass today with a huge selection of iconic real-world routes and trains for you to master.

Players with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscriptions can begin their journey in Train Sim World 4 today on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Additionally, if you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, you can stream it via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Train Sim World 4 puts you in the driving seat of a huge selection of trains as you attempt to master their routes — after learning the fundamentals in the training center — such as the "East Coast Main Line with the LNER Azuma, Antelope Valley Line with the Metrolink F125 and S-Bahn Vorarlberg with the ÖBB 4024."

Plenty of mission-based activities will keep you busy with official trains and their routes, but if you fancy changing things up, the Free Roam lets you go wild by taking any train onto any route you like, offering you plenty of chances to wield the game's photo mode.

It launched in September, so we have the Train Sim World 4 achievements already, along with plenty of guides from the community. While the base game has 29 achievements and an estimated completion time of 12 to 15 hours, the game has a huge list of DLC packs, pushing the total number of achievements to 248 — be aware that a full completion isn't possible at the moment due to two unobtainable DLC achievements.

With games like Resident Evil 3 and Madden NFL 24 joining the service soon, chilling with some gorgeous scenery and impressive trains sounds like a good way to wind down after chaotic gaming sessions.
