Sevilla came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Manchester United in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Marcel Sabitzer’s brace had looked enough to lead the Red Devils over the line but a never-say-die attitude from the visitors ensured the match ended in a draw.

Jadon Sancho had scored early in the game, but his attempt was ruled out for offside.
However, Sabitzer put Manchester United ahead in the 14th minute after receiving a cross from Bruno Fernandes. The Austrian loanee from Bayern Munich put the ball beyond Sevilla’s Bono.
Sabitzer was back knocking just seven minutes later as he scored Manchester United’s second goal after a brilliant Anthony Martial assist.
Erik ten Hag’s men saw most of the ball for the rest of the half and seemed likely to score a third.
The second half was a different ball game entirely as Sevilla came out firing and looked to reduce the deficit a number of times.

Their moment came in the 84th minute after Tyrell Malacia switched off and allowed Jesus Navas to reach a ball, which the former Manchester City man struck beautifully. Although it struck Malacia on its way in, the goal was all Sevilla needed to get back in the game.
It was pressure after pressure as the LaLiga side laid siege to United’s defence.
Manchester United fans looked on in shock and despair as Lisandro Martinez was carried off the field by his Argentine teammates after he sustained an injury. The defender was alone with the ball when he fell to the pitch with an apparent ankle problem.
Sevilla thought they had gotten even when Youssef En-Nesyri struck a powerful header at goal. David De Gea was equal to the task as the Spanish goalkeeper parried the ball to safety.
The Andalusia side found what they had been looking for in the third minute of added time when Harry Maguire’s head deflected home another En-Nesyri header, which had looked destined to go wide.
