Using different ball for different holes. ie par 3 and par 5

Why would you want a ball that spins less?

You won't get much more distance using a lower spinning ball. Even Titleist have stated that there is only a couple of yards difference in distance between all of their balls.

Would you not also need to add this difference in distance to your club selection which will cause more confusion.

In my opinion the main difference between the balls if off the wedges and putters. Which you will need on both the par 5 and par 3 (most likely). Using a lower spinning ball would feel completely different and you would still need it to hold on the green.

And I also would not be good enough to tell the difference in distance is down to the ball- strike will be the main factor here.
