“I’m bringing this child safely back to earth no matter what”
“Estella, an AI that works at space hotel Sunrise, is suspected of attempting to make the hotel crash into Earth. However, as Vivy interacts with Estella and gets to know her better, she begins to see a difference between the information given to her by Matsumoto about Estella. Meanwhile, someone takes control over the Sunrise hotel much quicker than what Matsumoto predicted. Amidst the confusion, Vivy investigates the cause of the situation in order to save the passengers and Momoka’s younger sister, Yuzuka.”

Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song first airs every Saturdays in Japan, on Tokyo MX, at 23:30 JST. In America, each episode is later simulcasted by Funimation, who has the streaming rights. Vivy Episode 4 is coming to Funimation on Saturday, April 17 at 11:59 AM ET / 8:59 AM PT / 16:59 GMT.

Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song is an original anime project by WIT Studio. Whose story is most notably written by Re:zero author Tappei Nagatsuki, and Eiji Umehara, one of the authors of Chaos;Child, and who also worked on the scripts of the Re:zero anime.
The series also features an all star cast of seiyuu for its main characters. Featuring most notably Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch, Joker in Persona 5).
Vivy is a bold project, with its storyline mixing A.I characters, action, and drama. It’s too early to know whether it’ll manage to handle it all or not, but it’s definitely promising. A novel version and a manga version are ongoing simultaneously with the anime in Japan.
