Warzone Season 5 Weapon Meta

With Season 5 now officially live in both Warzone and Cold War, albeit after a short delay, fans are eager to know if a new meta has arrived.

Each season of Warzone usually includes a large number of weapon balances and adjustments. This season however proved different as Raven Software announced a weapon balancing patch would be arriving at a later date.

Just because no weapon adjustments were made in the latest update, doesn’t mean there isn’t a new meta. With the arrival of a brand new Assault Rifle and SMG, a new weapon meta might have arrived in Warzone Season 5.

All New Weapons In Warzone Season 5

As expected, the new Season of Warzone and Cold War includes some brand new weapons. Arriving at launch is the brand new EM2 Assault Rifle and the TEC-9 SMG. Both of which can be unlocked for free in the Season 5 Battle Pass.

Activision has also revealed that the Cane Melee weapon and Marshal Handgun will debut in both games at a later date.

Is There A New Meta In Warzone Season 5?

As of writing, it’s too early to tell if one of the new weapons is going to become the next big weapon meta in Warzone Season 5. But, the EM2 is certainly the shining star in the latest Call of Duty update.

Players will still be levelling up the new weapon and seeing how it fits into the weapon meta. But, JGOD thinks it’s a strong contender as he states that the gun is “pretty crazy”. So we recommend levelling up the EM2 and having fun with it before a possible nerf.
