The Bear-Dolphins game was an exhilarating high-scoring game that was highly competitive and went down until the end. The game ended with a score of 35-32 as the Dolphins secured the win in the late moments of the game.
Although the game was quite interesting, many people weren’t satisfied with the quality of officiating in the Bears-Dolphins game. Many calls shouldn’t have been given but were given, and vice versa.
the NFL is a highly competitive league and major turnovers can happen with the slightest of infractions. In these times, the referees should be extra cautious, but according to the fans, this exact process was lacking in this particular game between the Bears and Dolphins.
The most notable of these infractions was the pass interference call that the referees didn’t give against the Dolphins. Bears WR Chase Claypool was ready to receive the pass from QB Justin Fields, but in the final moments, two Dolphins defensive players hugged him, which resulted in the non-completion of the pass.
Fans were furious and demanded action, as that was an important play and would have pushed the Bears up many yards. On the other hand, the Bears were later penalized in the 4th quarter for a questionable offense.
Though the Bears lost the game, their QB Justin Fields delivered a performance that he will remember for ages. With this performance, Fields has established himself as one of the best young QBs in the league and it will be fun to watch what else he can offer from here on.
NFL Twitter demands action after the officiating fiasco in the Bears-Dolphins game
As expected, NFL Twitter was enraged after the standard of officiating in the Bears-Dolphins game and immediately called out the referees for their inconsistent officiating.
The game was quite interesting, no doubt, but some of the decisions taken by the referees were questionable, and one person on Twitter pointed out that there should be a system in place to challenge the controversial calls.
Some of those non calls should be challengeable or reviewed up top.

This season, the referees have received lots of criticism for their poor officiating, and most of them comprised the pass interference calls and roughing the passer calls. These calls proved to be the most controversial and also the most important ones.
Though the call has been given and nothing can be changed now, we can just look at some of the tweets that people put out against the officiating in the game.
So, I presume the NFL will issue the Bears and apology for a completely blown call on an obvious pass interference? That after handing Miami every cheesy call all afternoon?

Disgusting officiating I’m sick

That is every game every week. If the NFL product was a car, it would be recalled due to total lack of competent officiating. It must be too much to ask that officials be competent and held accountable. 🤮

It is because it was the Bears and not some TOP team

The refs did NOT call this, but they called Eddie Jackson on incidental contact.

And there's an official right there to boot. 😂

He’s got his arms around Claypool like he’s on the back of a F’ing motorcycle!

The game is done and the Bears should prepare for their next against the Lions. With QB Justin Fields in exceptional form, the Bears have a decent chance to take this one home.
