It was white and different but being a traditional shape I could put up with it. After a short while I actually came to like it and the fact that the matt finish wasn't affected by glare like some drivers.
Since then I have bought the R1 and although I didn't like the orange and grey on the head it didn't bother me as I judge clubs by their performance.
If TM get rid of the white altogether I think it will be a big marketing mistake. The white is distinctive and it works and I wouldn't be surprised to see another white model launched soon.
TM are not the No 1 driver on tour because they make bad drivers, they are where they are because one, their products work and two they are good at marketing them.
I'm not saying that they manufacture the worlds best drivers, just that they work for the players that use them.
