Taylor Townsend, the American tennis professional who has been paving her way ever since getting acclaimed as the World Junior Champion by ITF back in 2012, additionally ranking herself as the world No. 1 in the girls category, has come a long way to start making headlines now.
The 26-year-old who hails from Illinois, Chicago has made a name for herself prominently in the doubles category with her recent Grand Slam doubles final at the US Open scheduled for tomorrow with partner Caty McNally. She also holds under her belt the runners-up title at the 2022 ITF USA 12A, where she lost to 5th seed Wang Xiyu.
Townsend also managed to make it to the doubles semi-finals of the French Open earlier on her tour this year where she along with her partner Madison Keys lost their performance exhibition in the finals to Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff. Her career-high WTA ranking of 61 was achieved by her back in 2018.
Taylor’s career has seen some major downsides along the way, notably back in 2015 when she just made her top 100 debuts, her performance following the tour that year did not cut her any close to even qualifying for the majority of WTA tournaments, resulting her ranking to fall out of the top WTA charts and back to 300.
Her absence from the mid-2020-2021 season was witnessed among the masses when she announced her pregnancy via social media and took a maternity leave to give birth to her son Adyn in March 2021.

Just like the majority of upcoming tennis professionals, Taylor Townsend’s relationship status is not confirmed as she keeps her private life secluded from her workplace. The 26-year-old is currently not dating anyone and is focused on rebuilding and strengthening her career to the utmost level.
Despite her relationship status being black as of now, she is however rumored to have at least one boyfriend in the past which according to various media sources has never been confirmed. She has never been engaged to anyone previously and her dating life for now remains a mystery.
